After the Calgary Flood, this basement bathroom located in Elbow Park was in need of a restorative renovation. Because the bathroom is typically the smallest room in a house, we want to avoid making the space look cluttered with accessories and instead focus on the architectural elements to act as the focal point of the design. Using different types of stone and tile is one way to create a dynamic look, and choosing matching finishes ties everything together. The glossy blue Pratt & Larson wall tile in contrast to the natural stone creates a soothing element that can transition for years to come.
