The ‘Industrial Streetside’ inspired look of this master bedroom features both varying textures and a dramatic palette. Feeling like a Soho loft, this room is layered with iconic pieces, textiles, and finishes. It’s uncluttered interior details make a statement and enhances the forms in the room.
The Restoration Hardware Ivory Atelier Scissor Task Lamp flanking either side of the bed, is one of the best ways to make the particular ‘industrial streetside’ style of this room come to life. These iconic pharmacy lamps from the 1900’s pair beautifully with the bedroom.
The camel coloured leather platform bed anchors the room with it’s broad footprint and minimalist style. The ebony duvet cover compliments the custom artwork by Lindsay Nichols Photography, made especially to set the stage of this design concept. The custom pillows by NFID are finished in the nostalgic Maharam Letters by Gunnar Aagaard Andersen pattern in a vibrant citrine and black adding interest but not overwhelming the look (these pillows are available to be purchased via NFID’s new SHOP). Behind them the intricate pattern of the Robert Allen’s Ribbon Effect -Steel velvet pillows offers a dynamic contrast.
To complete the bedroom the architecture allows for a West Elm Mid-Century Mini Desk in black with a gunmetal task lamp to be nestled in the cozy recess between the two storage closets. Sunlight from the window above allows for this wonderful area to catch up any studying or reading as you finish off your day.
