Head Over Heals for this Luxe Bedroom
Natalie Fuglestveit Interior Design recently completed this luxe bedroom transformation!
Our clients were craving a tranquil and clutter-free space to unwind and relax in at the end of the day, something simplistic in design yet luxurious. Functionality was also considered, and we ensured that plenty of storage and living space was a part of the finished product.
We drew inspiration for this space from natural materials, showcasing their diversity with the ample natural light that the room’s windows provided. Neutrals are amazing as they bring an instant feeling of luxury and style to any space, which is exactly what we were going for. At NFID, we love to incorporate raw materials to establish a timeless environment that can easily be switched up in the future if desired.
NFID went with C2 Paint Architectural White, which created a bright and airy backdrop for the bedroom. From the custom sheer ripple fold drapery to the linen bedding and wool carpet, raw textures and colours are scattered throughout the space. We instilled some personality in the space by layering different materials and utilizing patterns. Don’t let the brightness of the space fool you…we also included custom linen blackout drapes to ensure a good night’s rest.
The overhead Kelly Wearstler light fixture commands your attention, creating a modern and warm ambiance. Its bold design and pop of colour make it the perfect visual anchor to the bedroom’s minimalistic feel. NFID selected Restoration Hardware furnishings and satin brass finishes to tie all the room’s elements together and create a cohesive atmosphere.
