We loved working on this home! It was built in the community of Sunnyside in 1981. The house has seen a few renovations in its time, however over the past couple years, NFID has worked on the design & renovation to the main floor and lower level of this beautiful home.
To begin with, we had the pleasure designing this renovation for an amazing, fun, and beautiful family. The family uses this home for entertaining many guests WHILE raising their beautiful & active children.
Natalie Fuglestveit Interior Design had provided full-service interior design for this project. NFID worked on all the design drawings, millwork designs, product specifications, and schedules for this renovation prior to construction start. This allowed us to get realistic project quotes for our clients to review contractors bids & determine which trade suppliers we felt would be best suited for the project.
Entering the construction process, we had the pleasure to work with Chriscan Construction, a local Kelowna construction contractor. Chriscan had a wonderful team in their office & on the job site!
By having all millwork designs, product specifications, and schedules completed. The design was client approved prior to construction start. This allowed NFID was able to set our clients up for the most positive renovation experience to the best of our ability.
There are always unknowns in a renovation, so by ensuring the design was locked down we were able to deal with any unforeseen issues that did arise on site & have the team focus our time on figuring out the best possible design solutions, benefiting the clients and overall outcome of the project!
