Master Bedroom Makeover
Room makeovers are always so much fun to do, especially when you have wonderful clients who get excited about colours such as ‘pink’ + ‘orange’. At Natalie Fuglestveit Interior Design, we had so much fun creating a relaxing master bedroom where our clients could retreat to and enjoy. These clients wanted something fun and not too serious.
So, here come the before & after shots!
We created this….
Out of this….
Like most master bedrooms, this room was the last room to be addressed in the home and needed some extra TLC. To begin we painted the walls a clean soft white. This created a nice background for all the furniture & colours. We had fun adding some simple details such as a octagonal beaded wallcovering, mid-century style modern furniture, custom ombre pink and orange pillows, and other great elements such as the beautiful brass wall mounted LED wall-arm light fixtures.
Since the window was facing east, we needed to address the natural light. We decided to add some custom-made black-out drapery. We selected a beautiful soft grey sateen black-out fabric and created functioning double-panel width drapery. This solution assisted with both heat and light control, as well as created a luxurious focal point.
In the end, the clients loved the space and were thrilled to finally have a master bedroom that they can enjoy. – NFID
